I saw this pretty blue flower that reminded me of a technique that I had seen and wanted to try. Kathryn S'chuk has a video tutorial for the blown flowers. She used the backside of photo paper, I first tried glossy but then pulled out the big guns and went with Yupo paper. After my piece dried, I took a number 2 pencil and carefully accented all the lines for more detail. I decided to turn it I to a framed piece so I matted on black, but it was crooked so I ended up trimming around that and then matting onto white.
Too bad my day is full because the inspiration site has so much to offer and my brain is whirring with possibilities.

The piece you chose really does look like blown flowers. This is such a beautiful card. TFS!
