You know what I donât like about fancy folds? They require more precision than I like. I prefer to slap things together and hope for the best. You canât do that with fancy folds and my sloppiness always shows through. But anyway, our Snietje is so talented with her 3-D projects and sheâs provided us with a really cool tutorial, so I had to try it. Especially, because when I saw Sabrinaâs sample, I knew I had the perfect marbled paper to use inside and I had a vision for this card. A coworker asked me to make a graduation card for his son, who plays hockey for Bishop Feehan (they are the Shamrocks). I had some perfect stamps and papers for it so I almost had fun making this card. You know what other complaint I had this morning, right? It was like making two cardsâtoo much real estate. And I barely made it to my 9:00 meeting at work this morning!

Fabulous book cover, great marbled paper and a fun use of the dimension of the book to add the banner. At least the measurements in this aren't too bad because they're pretty basic, and the ScorPal does the rest of the work for you. I bet your colleague and his son will be well pleased with this.

I love the "almost"!! Your marbled paper is fab on the inside, and this card/book will be treasured.

I am just getting back to commenting on your card. When I saw it earlier, it reminded me that I needed to get a graduation card made for a friend for her great nephew. So I had to spend a little time with that. I love how yours turned out.

I am sitting here almost a day later and still chuckling over your adventure. I so agree with you. I tried Anita's tutorial earlier in the Spring and couldn't get everything to line up perfectly and smashed/trashed it! Your card is uber cool with the marbled paper and that Shamrock dp also. I love the stage you created for the hockey player. So what's a loss of nights sleep and dreams in the end. Cool!

Fantastic job on this book tutorial Jennifer. I still want to try this one. I got one in the mail when we did it with the Teapot Tuesday challenge and was blown away.
