I chose to make DH's birthday card...
For the inside cover, I used some old marbled paper (from Joanna Sheen, many years old), added gold photo corners and a sentiment matted on gold, with Liquid Pearls.
I used a page from an old hymnbook to cover the front of the book section.
The back layer was stamped with music in grey, and then the scrolling music in black.
To ground the frog (stamped on watercolour paper, coloured with Polychromos) I added a toadstool border in the background (cut from watercolour paper and coloured with Inktense pencils), and then added in a couple of TH mushrooms which had been on my desk, got lost, and got found again. I perched my guitar-playing frog (DH's primary instrument) on one of them. Added a popped-up sentiment.
A magnet holds the cover closed - it's tucked under the marbled paper, and the other one is in the first fold of the book section. I love Anita's tutorial, and the fact that I don't have to mail this made it a no-brainer to make such a dimensional card.

What an amazing card ...and then some! Love the froggy interior with those toadstools. The old hymnal paper made the perfect interior to go with your saxophone front. I will have to check out Anita's tutorial because this is quite splendid!

Beautiful inside too! I love all the small details, they add so much to your cards. The little toadstools tucked in the back and the cute guitar playing frog are adorable.
