I'm not one for using ribbon very much in my cards, but i would try this technique again. I cut lengths of ribbon and wove them onto a piece of Glad Press n Seal. It was very easy to adjust where necessary. When I was happy, since the ribbon was reversible, I was able to pressed it down and flip it over onto a sticky mailing label, then remove the Press n Seal. The label didn't gum up my sewing machine when it was stitched. I decided to try this CMYK 4-layer stamp set. CMYK stands for the colors, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK. When stamped in that order, I got this 3-D looking retro/Andy Warhol-ish image. Very cool! The built in stamp word "Thanks" was covered by my alphabet beads. I mounted this onto one of the very 1st scrap pad papers I ever bought. It's on a very pretty green, though this scan doesn't show any of the details very well.

Weaving ribbon - I find that so hard! Thanks for the tip on the Press n' Seal, maybe I'll give it another go. I like your fun vintage typewriter - it reminds me of my dad's old portable. What a fun multi-layer stamp.
