Today's sketch was a good one to use with my Monthly Image Swap card for May. Sue (dani_fournier) sent us this fun Unity image. I enjoyed coloring it because it's the kind of image that you can just slap some color on and it doesn't have to be perfect. It needed some neutral DP for the background, so I found some nice kraft patterns to mix. Sue also sent a piece of ribbon which I of course see as a challenge to use it. I felt that this image really needed a "Let's Hang" sentiment, which I would have made smaller, but I just finally decided that I needed a Xyron sticker maker and it came in the mail yesterday. I HAD to try it out. So I designed this "Let's Hang" in the ScanNCut Canvas software using "Pitter Script" which was a free font from The Hungry JPEG. Actually, I had trouble merging the g into the rest of the sentiment, so the g is a totally different font from the rest. It worked out fine. Then I needed something black in the top of the card to balance out all the black at the bottom. Now, I have wet Enamel Accents on the card and can't stand it up to take a picture. I'm also afraid to mail this off Tracie today. I'll wait a day or two for the Enamel Accents to fully dry.
