It's time for a new Color Challenge and this week Jeanne is hosting. She has chosen the soft colors of Blushing Bride, So Saffron and Pool Party with a dessert option to create a card for an event such as a birthday, wedding or baby.
I chose to make a new baby card, using Distress Inks similar to Pool Party and Blushing Bride, plus one similar to Night of Navy (SU neutral). The baby and umbrella were stamped on the panel after spraying with shimmer spray, then it was die cut, then edged and splattered with gold paint.
I also colored the baby and umbrella with Copics on white card stock, fussy cut then adhered to the panel with foam tape. The sentiment and sequins finished things off.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!

This stamp set is one of my favorites (the kind I don't ever get rid of) and you have done a wonderful job coloring it. I love your layout with the wacky stitching; it really adds to the playfulness of the card.

Oh, this little image is one of the sweetest ever and you've given it the perfect setting. I love the die cut stitches - a perfect little detail on a card full of special things.

I knew that stork story wasn't true; babies come from heaven, floating down with their umbrellas! I adore this cutie, and the dreamy background you created is lovely! Sweet, sweet card!
