Great use of patterns here. The main panel looks like stained glass windows in a cathedral somewhere! Of course the star of this card is the wonderful mixed font sentiment. I love it! And I like you kept everything monochromatic. Another way to slow the eye down. Very nice card for both of these challenges.

Great quote, Jean. I really like the art deco look of the sentiment and main background paper. They remind me of Paris. I always like sponged embossed gold edging.
