I had just bought some Brushos and watched the technique tutorials listed for the TLC741 challenge. I made several backgrounds and I tended to use too much color, so I saw Helen's card and decided to use the negative flower die cuts like she did. I die cut several butterflies out of the red Brushos bg to add to the card too. I colored a piece of sheer ribbon with a Copic marker for the bottom of the card. Then, glued all my layers together and onto a white card.
Thanks for the inspiration Helen! I've had those dies for a long time and never used them.

Wonderful case of Helen's card. I like the brushos butterflies, a nice addition. Your ribbon looks great. I did not know you could use copics to dye ribbon. This is so pretty in red, Gracie!

Congratulations and welcome to the wonderful world of Brushos. It’s great fun playing around with Brushos - just have to remember a little goes such a long way. These backgrounds are always one of my favourites. Love the way no two are alike. Love this card too - with the special addition of the little butterflies. So pretty and dainty.

Gorgeous, Gracie! I love your Brusho background and your use of the negative die cut. I love the ribbon colored with your Copic too. Absolutely gorgeous!

Very nice use of the negative die-cut. I'm like you, I tend to overdo my backgrounds, I don't seem able to manage the more diffuse look other people do.

Brushos are so fun to play with, but you can get real inky using them so be careful. Just a wee bit of a shake goes a loooong way. Great idea to use the negative of these pretty dies. A lovely card~

Your card is really beautiful and is such a great case of Helen's card too! If I were a butterfly, I would definitely be attracted to these gorgeous flowers. Keep playing with those brusho's - they are really fun and you have made a beautiful card to prove it. It is fun to die cut from brusho panels too; especially flower pieces and butterflies! ~Karen.
