The current Clean and Simple Challenge (CAS532 - Masculine Thank You - 5/6/19), is to make a thank you card appropriate for guys.
My hubby needed a thank you card for a friend who helped him with a recent Black Powder shooting event. The Buffalo theme is always a favorite for this group of guys, and I had this special DP in my stash. The paper is designed with multiple rows of the Buffalo roaming and I was able to minimize paper waste by cutting off a single strip to use - and that strip yielded enough to make 3 cards.
I sponged the edges of the DP panel with SU Baked Brown Sugar ink to add to the vintage feel of the design and added 2 layers of cs in back to add a bit of dimension. Then I glued it to a piece of mustard colored cs that had been dry embossed with SU Pinewood Planks. That was added to the front of a brown card base. I finished off the piece with a thanks diecut from the same brown cs as the card base.
This was a fun and easy card to make and my hubby was delighted that he had a Buffalo themed card to send his friend.
Thanks so much for roaming by and looking at my buffalo card for the masculine challenge!

So eye-catching! It just popped out at me in the gallery! Love the colors of that wonderful DP and it looks great against your golden plank embossed background. Great masculine thank you card!
