I'm pleased to be a color challenge guest designer
for the month of May.
Chris is our hostess today, and she has picked
Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Melon
Mambo with dessert being stripes.
I sponged my plaid stencil, which sort of has stripes,
in Crushed Curry. I stamped my image and then
sprayed a little water on it before stamping. Pretty
combo.

I am so feeling your "stripes". You actually have stripes within stripes. I love how you've mixed this up with the dotted ribbon and solitary bloom. Beautiful...and welcome!

Oh Denise, your card is a lovely clean and crisp beauty for this challenge! The coneflower is so pretty and I especially like the dotted ribbon in contrast to the background plaid. So glad you're part of the CCDT this month, DD sistah!

Oh, I just love the sunny, cheery look of this card! The yellow plaid reminded me that I have an as-yet unused plaid stencil in my stash! Love the watery look of your pretty posy. Faved.

Denise, welcome to the Color Challenge! And what a card you've started the month with! Oh, my, I adore this card! Please PM me with the name of the stencil; I would like to get one! It makes such a perfect background for the solo flower. Spraying it a tiny bit before stamping did give you the look of watercolor!
