I used a birthday gift to buy this die set, which I loved for its versatility, you can combine the different ears and muzzles to make all sorts of different dogs. So, I was playing around with it last night and made this trio - all cut from watercolour paper and mostly coloured simply by sponging, though I did use Inktense pencils for the spots and any pink bits.
Today I made a brick wall background - the top row of bricks was trimmed off and popped up on a layer of chipboard for added dimension. The folder was inked with antique linen before embossing. I embossed the clouds and sanded them a bit. The grass was cut from offcuts - the edge of a gel print, and some cling-wrap background. I computer-generated the sentiment and added it. Layered the image panel onto some dark grey card and then onto a white base.

Couldn't be any cuter, Sabrina. I really like that brick wall. The paper for the pups was just the right thing.

Your style is so versatile, Sabrina. This is adorable and I love the 3 pups you designed. The bg with the clouds and brick wall looks great....pinned to my board of background ideas. What a cheerful creation. So appropriate...i just got back from the park where ginormous Georgia dragged me around at a very fast pace. I am sitting for a few moments to rest and decided to look in the gallery. It has been awhile since I did that, and there was your terrific card. Serendipity, since I have been thinking of you. Sending happy thoughts your way.
