A lot of my mixed media cards have a lot of dimension. This is way more CAS than I usually do. The reasoning behind it is I am making a bunch of thank you cards to give to the hospital staff when my daughter has her baby girl any day now. I only used white cardstock on this card. The colorful background is from a mono print I made using chalk, a STAMPlorations stencil, acrylic paint and my gel plate. To get the stork white, I paper pieced him. You can see the sentiment on the inside. This is an easel card.

wow, they are going to love you! what a nice gesture. my son in law just became an RN and I'm so much more aware of how much nurses and others do for us. Your chalk background is beautiful!

What a nice thing to do for the hospital staff! They so rarely get any thanks for all the things they do . . . . Love those chalk squares cascading down our card!

I am sure the staff at the hospital will love getting cards from you. Super cute card to give them. Love the stenciling on this and great image too. Congrats on when that new grand baby shows up.
