I had to make a second card for Lisa's WTUI Stencilchallenge.
I used a stylus and brass stencil to emboss the bee skep. That stencil has been in my stash for years. I sponged ink around the stencil and on the bottom. Stamped the sentiment and bees in white, then in black to create a shadow. Die cute the yellow panel with a stitched edge. Stamped, colored and fussy cut the bear, added wire antennae. Mounted the panel on a white cardbase. TFL

What a cute wannabe-bee. And that is very old school stencilling - and a fab stencil to use. The skep looks amazing and must be great to see in real life with the texture from the dry embossing.

It has been a very long time since I used a metal stencil. I would really have to go looking in my craft stash to see if I could find mine. I use to use them all the time and have not used them in years. This is super adorable. Thank you for a second great sample for the challenge.
