This is for Cathy's terrific sketch. She was called out of town so I have the privilege of posting her challenge.
I wanted to have a country feel to my card so I used gingham paper and a polka-dot daisy. I happened to have two leaves on my desk from another project. I tucked those under the daisy petals. I used a button from my stash for the flower center. It has a bit of thread still on it which adds to the country feel.
Thanks for looking! I hope you have a chance to try out the sketch this week.

Diane, this is such a warm and cozy card. The gingham yellow really makes the flower stand out as does the button with bits of thread on it. Wonderful!

Love that button centered polka dot daisy and that strip of posies set against the checked background! The cheerful colors and fun patterns really play up your bold sentiment.
