I use the en francais and poppies background stamps and merged together with a strip of smoky slate. I layered it on calypso coral and then onto the base of smoky slate. I colored the poppies with prisma pencils.

Now, that's (the poppies) a stamp I never even thought of for this. I guess because it's not actually in my background box. Always love script on a card, French is the best . That sweet little die-cut wild grass is my favourite bit. I had wondered about using a strip of something to manage the break between the two stamps - it works really well.

Just lovely with those beautiful flowers and script stamp. Love that gorgeous butterfly. I have seen a few of those fluttering around my back yard recently.
