I had made this Wax Paper Resist background a while ago. I thought it looked peaceful and that is the theme for April Christmas Cards. So, I stamped the holly leaf and the world ornament on the background. Since it already had the wax on it, I used my stamp a ma jig to be able to re-stamp to make sure I got a good image. Then I stamped the dove on a piece of white CS in the same green ink. I wanted a white dove - fussy cut the green one and turned it over so the dove is facing the other direction from how it would be if you just stamped it. That fit better with my design anyway. I stamped the sentiment in Pacific Point. This is on glossy CS so I had to make sure everything dried well in between stampings.

Beautiful! Love the swirly background as the setting for the leaves, the ornament, and the sentiment. And then the die cut dove looks perfect on top - great idea to turn it over so it faces the opposite way.

Pat, really like this card. The blue background is so peaceful in itself. It took me until late March to get JAN/FEB/MAR cards done. Hang in there and keep stamping! tfs
