Such a lot to see on the Inspiration Site! I was really drawn to THIS picture.
The picture also made me think of some gold tipped white feathers I saw in a craft store a couple of years ago. For the first couple I did, I stamped, gold embossed, fussy cut then swiped the gold ink across the tips & dipped them in the gold powder. They didnât look quite right to me. So on the rest, after I cut them out, I cut little notches in the tips before inking & dipping. I think that made all the difference. On the white bg, I gold embossed the greeting & used the Splatter Bg just in some areas. I had these mirror gold square frames left from another project, so I used them to add a little interest.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

I love your gold tipped feathers, Julie....so pretty! The framing looks great and makes a wonderful design for your card. Splatters finished it off it a wonderful way. What a sweet sentiment, too.

I like everything about this card - the simple elegance of the gold & white combo - the chunky gold embossing and the way the framing accentuates the feathers.
