I can be very literal but also not follow the rules, even though I'm generally a rule follower. Many of my generation are. I interpreted the MIX challenge as using a piece of junk mail, even though I don't think that is what Jeanne meant. I also uploaded a photo of the post card before I destroyed it.
If you're ever in West Bend, WI, please visit. It's a pretty cool place, not too big and overwhelming.
I often ditch junk mail immediately, unless there is something that catches my eye. This piece isn't really junk mail, since it's from an art museum that I regularly go to. The 'eye' really caught my 'eye.' I painted my gray cs with the copper paint, per the F4A, cut the postcard into strips and adhered in between the painted lines, cut out the eye, then embellished it with some glitter, markers and the Nuvo Drops. Several stamps about 'rules' and it is finished. It was fun and I'm pleased.

Super fun design, and even if Jeanne didn't mean to use junk mail she didn't say neither not to...so I think this is a great idea!! and so artsy and unique, love the lines!!

and you should be pleased, very...this is AWESOME! And I think a mow betta take on the original art card. Don't know about your following rules, though, wink! Those stripes with the strips are lined up so cool. Looks like one of the strips has eyes looking down on the mis~s segment.
gotta run, but this is just a really creative take on the challenges!!!!!

I love what you've done...I was actually interpreting the challenge both ways. I figured I'd have to review and think about it if I decided to enter! This is so, so creative...and I love your using parts of your inspiration mailer to develop your resulting card! OUTSTANDING!

I love it! So cool! I guess I misunderstood the challenge too, because I used my junk mail. I love using junk mail on my cards! This sentiment is just awesome for this fabulous card, Jean!

Very "eye-catching". I don't think it matters if you also used your junk mail as well as being inspired by it. I like the quirky type-setting of the sentiment.
