In making a card to honor Catherine last Sunday I had cut the outline of this die. since the die cut is actually the outline, all of the parts it cuts out are in my estimation the negative. So I took all those parts and realigned them in another die cut (which I will use in another card with the negative bits). It would have been impossible to line them up without the die cut in place. It was hard enough with it to go by. So the red you see is the card base and all the white parts are what I cut Sundays outline from. I kept it very simple and just added a black sentiment on the card and a red outline of the rose on the inside of the card with the stamp set.

You are absolutely right, Pat - The drop outs are definitely the "negative" of this die cut! You did a fantastic job reinserting all the drop outs into your card base. I know how tedious and exacting this task is as I've tried it twice - once with a small butterfly and once with a peacock feather. Beautifully done!
