 | | I desperately need thank you cards so I perused this week's featured stamper gallery. Catherine (cdimick) is this week's featured stamper and her gallery is full of goodies. I chose this card for my inspiration because of the layout: APRVSN17D Blooming Well Wishes by cdimick at Splitcoaststampers. When I placed the yellow strip onto the card, it just got lost. So I cut out a rectangle of blue cs, placed a grand stately circle die as close to the top edge of the rectangle as possible and die cut it. Then I repeated this for the bottom and ended up with an oval shape that I really liked. Whew! The butterfly is colored with copic markers and fussy cut out. A few copper pearls for a butterfly trail and this card is done. Yay! Thank you so much for the wonderful inspiration Catherine. ~Karen. |
