ABC11E5: Still playing catch up. This is my entry for the letter E represented here by the Emerald Envy ink, the word Everything in the sentiment, and embossing. I also have the double challenge of making an encouragement card.
When TLC735 came up, I wanted to play, especially since I don't have a wreath stamping template and Dina's tutorial shows how to stamp a wreath without it (thank you, Dina!) Here is the link to her tutorial: Wreath Stamping Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I used an old color challenge to stamp my wreath using stamps from both Jar of Love and Swirly Bird. After finishing, I rounded the corners but I didn't like how it looked so I decided to fussy cut around the wreath. I heat embossed the sentiment and popped the wreath up on foam tape. However, when I put it up against the Calypso Coral card base, I thought the base needed something so I was able to get that fun corner stamp inky for the first time.
This was a lot of fun to make! Thanks for looking!

I would have imagined that the rounded corners would have looked good with the curves of the flowers, but the fussy-cut wreath certainly looks great and the corner stamp is lovely. It must have been a bit of work doing that two-step stamping too! But they are fun aren't they.

Beautiful card, Catherine! You picked an excellent color challenge for your lovely wreath. I like how you fussy cut out the wreath and how it hangs off the sides. The corner stamping looks great. Very nicely done! TFS
So gorgeous Mahalo for the link I’m going to have to try this too . I’m not to much into wreaths but lots of my alpha Sistahs are enablers so don’t be to surprise I be wreathing along!!

What an elegant wreath card this is with a superb sentiment! I love the warm colors you used, your lovely corner stamping, and how you cut this wreath out to make it a focal point. This is just beautiful Catherine and so lovely for the letter E alphabet challenge. ~Karen.

Your wreath using Dina's tutorial is so pretty, lovely colors, and so great accomplishing two-step stamping as well! Love the little doodled corner designs on your card base.
