ABC11D4: I'm playing catch up with the Alphabet Challenge. Several weeks ago the letter was D with a double challenge of making a Dad's day card, no double challenge here. My D is represented by the dog and the diamond pattern sponged in the background, I suppose I can claim diagonal stripes too!
I saw this diamond sponged background technique and wanted to try it. I think I need a smaller sponge or to use a dauber but I still like how it turned out. I thought this would be the perfect time to use this fun sky-diving dog image too. I colored him with Copics and die cut him out.
For fun, I added the three diagonal strips. The dog is popped up with foam tape. I will add a sentiment later...perhaps "Dropping by with a birthday hi!"
Thanks for looking!

Haha when I first read it I didn’t see the in on the end and I was like omg no ways hahaha. Either way fantastic card Sis. It’s just so weird everything is so focus right now around dogs and I don’t know if I’m happy or stressed half the time more likely stressed

This is such a fantastic card Catherine. Your diamond-sponged background is really fabulous and showcases these wonderful stripes and this fun dog image too. This will make a fabulous birthday card for a man or a woman! ~Karen.

Great things for letter D. Love your dog image and coloring, plus your shaded diamond background. That adds oodles to your card, along with the red and white paper cut stripes. Great card!
