Oh! My dear friend and fellow splitcoastie Susan (One4Joy) and I had coffee (Vero!!) last week and agreed to stretch our color challenge boundaries. She did the bg and sent it to me, and I did the rose to send to her. Collaborative color challenge cards!
I really felt the need to add fiber and sweet faces... which would have been totally Susan. I just couldn't do it! My best effort is to add several layers to the die cuts. I'm such a confirmed CAS crafter...!

This is beautiful with the two of you creating cards with each other. Lovely die to compliment Susan's neat bg. It's really nice seeing a card from you.. Blessed Easter to you and your family. Hugs

Such a great idea! I saw the one Susan posted. Both cards are terrific. What a cool background. I like how you layered the rose and sentiment. It adds extra wow. Excellent take on the color challenge and your shared card-making. Good to see you in the gallery! TFS

Hello down there, friend! Your card looks fantastic. I love the pop of that fancy flower against the molded and pasted and gelato'ed background. You kept your best CAS style! Tis very good to see you in the gallery.
You know Market of Choice has the best gelato...how about some mint? Who knows what we'll cook up next?

Gorgeous results and so good to see one of your creations in the gallery, Brenda! Love that single rose against the bg. Happy to hear that you and Susan got together and traded card elements.

this is so funny, as I was looking at the card, the first thing that caught my eye was the texture in the background and I was like swooning and one part surprised because, I had seen it was from you and then the story made it an Ah Ha... very cool collaboration
