When I pulled the original print I was immediately struck with how it could represent the idea of competing thoughts swirling around in my mind. I constantly battle with the "I am not enough" mindset (actually a current battle after being reminded yet again by one of my kids how far short I fall....teens are the best at seeing our flaws). I try to replace the wrong thinking with Scripture and how God is enough even when I am not. I used colored pencils to deepen some.of the colors and added shading with pencil rubbed and blended. I collaged a bunch of junk...the junk that presses in or maybe it's the junk I have managed to push out. I wrote the thoughts and questions that plague me around the edges of the print and the Scripture that encourages inside and around the gal. It's all in pencil since it's personal

This is very cool, Gail. I totally understand what you are saying and I can see how this represents that. You are good enough - He makes you that way. I try to visually lean on Him when I feel this way - seems to make things better. Many hugz
