...but I might have to file a claim with the airline...my baggage has cracked open! Thanks lacyquilter (Melody) for encouraging us to show our luggage, backpack, carryall, or EGG(?????) as we journey from Here to There Aprils' VSN theme.
For this weeks Ways to Use it, Cathy has challenged us to feature eggs on our cards. Well, I simply couldn't resist using the cracked egg and chick.
And the egg couldn't just be white, brown, blue, grey, or speckled...nope, this egg had to be from the Frosted Filter Tutorial javagirl984 (Melissa) brought us in the VSN Fueled by Caffeine. Check it out. So Fun. A*tie dye* egg!
I added the Art Impressions sentiment:
"Face it Sweetie...You ain't no spring chicken, but
Happy Birthday anyway!"
Question, do you dye eggs for Easter? How about making deviled eggs? They seem to be the first thing to disappear on the holiday tables.
Thanks for your comments...they are for sure the dye tie of my creative life!

How about Tie Dye Easter eggs using rubber bands! I haven't dyed any eggs for a few years. I used to bribe my kids when they were teenagers. If you don't color eggs with me the Easter Bunny won't come ;) Love your cute card, Susan.

Love love love! I love the trim at the top and the coffee filter egg. The colors, the texture. Just fab! I didn't dye any eggs this year, but I look forward to dying them when my kids get a little older.

Haven't dyed eggs for a while, but we used to blow out the egg and dip the shells in oil based paints swirled in water to marbleize them with the kids at school before Easter. Your cracked egg kind of reminds me of that activity! What an egg-stra special and fun card, Susan!

Love the addition of the crinkled paper. Very creative! Fun egg colors for the technique. Even your trim at the top looks like tiny eggs. I might have dyed eggs once a long time ago. Can't really remember cause I ain't no spring chicken either, lol. I do love devilled eggs a lot!

Oh my gosh! This cracks me up (pun intended!). Your little chick looks a bit steamed at the cracked egg..and I’m smiling thinking how you tied this into the luggage challenge. So cleverly done and a super-dooper card for the egg challenge. Delightful!
