A three-fer today...I had this card in my mind for yesterday's challenges and then when I saw today's teapot challenge (thanks, Susie), I went with it. Not cascades of flowers but one lone daffodil, sort of representing the sun coming up and the colors of the sunrise behind.
The first time I saw chalks used was with a small daffodil stamp. I was amazed, looked like magic. I just received this Club Scrap stamp set with daffodils so I pulled out the chalks. Masked the daffy and a ground, then used a bunch of DOx. Not quite what was used yesterday for the TLC but I think it still works. An uplifting card at any rate, for Easter or someone who has been ill. I hope it makes Caterina, such a lovely name, feel much better. The hospital is not a place to recover.

Jean, that's really neat using the daffodil in lieu of the sun. The colours are fabulous in your sky. It's a beautiful CAS design. The daffs here are well over :-(, they came up too early. And now it's really cold and grey and we could do with the cheer.

Oh wow, this is sooo gorgeous! Your single daffodil blooming for all it is worth in the rising sun is just terrific. I adore the colors you achieved in your sky, and I know Caterina will really love this card too. ~Karen.
