It's time for a new Color Challenge! Karen is hosting this week and has chosen the lovely combination of Lovely Lipstick, Mint Macaron and Very Vanilla, with a dessert option to add roses. I did have a bit of dessert with a rose in the lower right corner of the watercolored panel.
I found the heat embossed floral panel in my scrap folder and thought it would work perfectly for this challenge. I added some Night of Navy ink (SU designated neutral) to Lovely Lipstick ink to achieve the purple on the crocus and a very watered down Lovely Lipstick for the background. Cracked Pistachio Distress ink was used for the leaves.
I used a stencil and some Cracked Pistachio ink to stencil the butterfly images on the mint panel.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join us for the Color Challenge this week!

Stef, you are always such an inspiration to me! I have these stamps, have the stencil, haven't been able to achieve such gorgeousness with them, but I'll keep watching you and trying! Your card is so lovely!
