I kept a young woman, flowers and the color scheme of pink, orange and black. It's pretty much a one layer version of her card. I used some washi on the bottom and also to paper piece a little collar at her neck.
Has anyone used the color bursts before? This is my first time, I like the colors but I had trouble with the powder clumping and not dispersing. I tried shaking the bottle to loosen it up but that didn't help.

Check out some youtube videos. I think Dina and maybe Lydia had some ideas on how to store the powders. Your background is amazing! I love your girl too! I haven't seen her before but I see she is a Jane Davenport which makes sense because I was just in a store yesterday looking at the Jane Davenport line and when I saw your card it made me think of the supplies! She is very striking!

How vibrant, Jean! that hot color is really striking. Haven't tried colorburst, but do have Brushos, which I think are similar. Mine came in little plastic screw top jars, so I used a push pin to poke a hole thru the top & use as a shaker. I just keep the push pin in the hole to keep the powder in when I'm not using. Seems to work fine.

This card is so beautiful and truly speaks to me. I love the bg (LOVE it!), the wonderful paper-pieced top on the girl, the necklace on the girl, and just the overall flow of the wonderful images on this card. ~Karen.
