The background is a bookplate card. I bought a little box full just because I liked them. They have sticker backs so they can be put in the front of a book with the owner's name on it.
The pirate ship silhouette is printed on acetate and the word "beware" and the Jolly Roger are printed on gold paper to match the card backing. The acetate is popped up on foam tape to give it dimension, and the tape is hidden behind the word and the Jolly Roger. I had fun making this one.
