I made this card for the March MISTI Monday challenge MSP19 where you need a white focal point with a colorful background.
I stamped and used coordinating die to cut out my Freesia image. I used the Misti to stamp the flower and sentiment. I don't like using clear stamps because I never seem to get a good image, but with the Misti I can stamp it several times to get the black image darker and completely filled in.
I created the bg using alcohol inks and blending solution on glossy paper. I layered this piece on black cardstock, then purple cardstock and onto pink card. I added some black adhesive lines to edges and some sequins to balance out the image.

Gracie, what a fabulous and artistic background. I love the blending and layering of your colors. I also like the small rectangular piece for the sentiment. It just blends right in with the background even though you probably cut it from a different place. It's like magic. The black beaded cord you are using is so delicate looking and just perfect on the card as an accent. Your white image is "outstanding" just as it should be. Love, love, love the purple and pink! Great job!!

Oooh, this is so pretty and dramatic as well with the large white diecut bloom. Wonderful background and I like the black adhesive accents you used too!

Lovely alcohol background! It is seeing things like this that push me closer to getting some alcohol inks! Freesias are one of my favourite flowers. Love the little black trim; your card is beautiful!
