This is my sample for SC742. Ally is our hostess and she has given us a fun sketch for our cards.
I decided to make a card with a generic sentiment and that way I can use it for a birthday or even Mother's Day. I will add another sentiment to the inside of the card when the time comes.
I started off my card by choosing the colors for the rectangle panels. I went with Spring colors since I was going to make a tulip bouquet. I chose Stampin'-Up gorgeous grape, granny apple green daffodil delight and highland heather. My card base is soft seafoam.
The Bouquet of Tulips is a die from CottageCutz. I used pretty in pink cardstock for the tulips and old olive for the stems.
The sentiment is from the Stampendous "spring sentiments" set and I stamped it with gorgeous grape ink.
To complete the card I scattered a few glitter enamel dots. That's my card for this week and my last one as a DT member of the sketch team. It was a quick 6 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time.

These colors are terrific together Mary!!! I love the big spray of tulips also. The sentiment is nice and your card will be so nice for one of your friends. :>)
