I made this card for "What a Surprise" where you could come up with a pun or a joke with the punch line hidden inside the card and ABC challenge "D".
I googled puns and jokes that included dogs and found this one...it made me laugh, so...hopefully the person receiving this card will enjoy it too. I stamped my dachshund, "Howdy", cowboy hat and wrote the joke. I stamped a border around the images and colored it, the dog and hat with Copic markers. I fussy cut the hat and popped it up over "Howdy". I added Crystal Lacquer to dog's big eyes. Then, I added twine to the card.
If you want the answer, you'll have to Google it! LOL

As I was typing a familiar cowboy phrase that refers to herding cattle, I got the pun! What a clever card and your doxie is precisely the type of doggie required. Thanks for joining the Teapotter's Challenge this week.

OK, I googled. It made me laugh. This is a fun card -- my husband had a dachshund when he was a kid, so I'm used to him and his family awwwing over anything with a dachshund on it.

What a great card, Gracie. I am in awe of your twine treatment. It totally works to balance the card. Your stamping and coloring of the border is really fun! I thought it was dp. Fun pun inside your card too!
