A birthday card for my wonderful DIL! Also for challenges:
MSP19: March 2019 MISTI Monday challenge, to use a white focal image on a colorful background. I followed the Textured Alcohol Ink Background (link is in the MISTI Monday thread, post #1) to create my background. I used my Mini MISTI with the sentiment stamp and the Versamark, for a perfect heat-embossed sentiment!
CT0319: March 2019 Fan Club challenge, Wags, Wings & Whiskers. My card has wings! (If you're not a fan club member, why not? Come & see all the fun you're missing!)
This was my second attempt at creating the alcohol ink background--don't ask about the first one! :-) Mine isn't as "textured" as her example, but it's colorful! TFL!

Gorgeous card! Your technique turned out beautifully. I like how you tore your vellum instead of just cutting it. I think it adds so much more character to your card. The gold rhinestones for the butterfly's body captures your attention. The butterfly looks like it is flying through the clouds. Nicely done!

You did a great job with the textured alcohol ink technique Liz. I have yet to try this so you are inspiring me here. I love how the bg looks like a flower garden for your beautiful butterfly to flit around in. The torn edges on your vellum piece add to the textured feel of this card very nicely. ~KaRen.
