It's tickle a teapotter time again! Already! Where did March go? Dr. Sonja has challenged us to include a surprise in our cards. My surprise is the Twisted Pop Up (OMG I'm so brave) and the sentiment that I think is hilarious. I realized that I hadn't done Misti's Mini VSN Challenge yet and decided that donuts are a great vacation food. I used SC123 to make it look kind of like a box of donuts to mimic Misti's inspiration photos. The donuts are stickers that I had picked up on sale at Hobby Lobby. Aren't they fun? The donut "DP" is a card base from a box of cards that I bought on clearance this weekend at Christmas Tree Shop. Christmas Tree Shops lost most of its charm when Bed Bath & Beyond bought it, so I haven't been there in a few years. I happened to be right next door to one on Saturday and figured I'd stop in and maybe do some Easter basket shopping. I couldn't leave these cards there--a pack of 40 for $2.99. I bought myself three and both of my kids are getting a box in their Easter basket. LOL! And they're honestly going to be thrilled.

This is the fold I really wanted to do - but I couldn't think of a fun/surprise theme to use with it. Are donuts that cheap over there? A Krispy Creme opened up near us (first one in Ireland, and originally they had a 24-hour drive-through but that had to be curtailed because the amount of traffic was disrupting the neighbourhood), and I'm sure someone said that it's €30 for a box of - I can't remember how many - I think it was a dozen of their St. Patrick's Day special. But it sounded like a lot to me!

Oh my goodness, what a wonderful twisted pop up card this is! And that sentiment- what a hoot! I will be chuckling about this for quite awhile. I personally do not care for donuts at all, but I do love looking at them in the case because they look like art to me (I know, I am weird!). What a truly fun card this is and so great for this week's challenge too! ~Karen.

That sentiment is perfect for a kinky sense of humor. But that is why you made a twisted pop-up card, right? Just perfect and thanks for joining the Teapotter party this week!
