I made this card for this week's Featured Stamper who is Sharon Madsen. Congratulations Sharon! You have a wonderful gallery that I perused a few times before deciding on this beauty: CC665 DD8ABC18 R for Reindeer sm by smadson at Splitcoaststampers. I have had this very same deer die for years and have never once cut it out so today was the day. I loved the color combination of Sharon's card, even though I switched it up a bit. The background is an embossing folder that I inked up with Wild Wasabi ink, then ran it through the die cutting machine. The wreath is very small so I cut it and slipped it around the deer's neck and glued it in the back. I am also entering this card into this week's Alphabet challenge for the letter C for crystal snowflake and because it is a Christmas card (which is also the double challenge). Sharon, congratulations again and enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight. I had so much fun making this card and now I have made another Christmas card for next year- yay! Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

I love that I just got back from having French Toast, lol. and see that you are in the gallery posting today. I am totally faving this one. I have that ironworks die and love your use of making a snowflake with it. Also love the e.f. which I have and that you inked it up. This card rocks, my friend! And yay, another Christmas card made! (The little bow is adorable)

Such a lovely Christmas card, Karen! I love the huge sparkly snowflake & embossed greenery behind it. You know, I have that deer die..don't think I've ever used it (hangs head).
