I made this card many years ago, but never finished it. I kept it in my incomplete basket. At the time I felt like it needed more, but I couldn't figure out what. I found it when I was reorganizing. It is amazing just how much your perspective changes over time. I now love how simple it is. I decided not to do anything else to the front, not even a sentiment. I feel like the cross says it all. I finished the inside to read "It never grows old, this glorious news of Christ's resurrection. Hope it brings you joy at Easter."
The image is Draped Cross with Ribbon from Eureka Stamps. When I went back to find this image I found another cross with ribbon and a wreath of thorns. That one will be coming up soon. I did not save my color list, but it was not many. It is colored with Copics.

Wow! Diane, this card is awesome and any additional elements may have taken away from the beauty of the image. The image touches my soul and I'm glad you pulled it out of your basket to share it here. I love the simplicity of the card! Great art, Diane!
