I am having so much fun with the Stained Glass Technique at CAS Mix-up this month. This time I am trying with cs as the surface to peek through.
BG colors for hot air balloon: die cut (SU! die) from SU! cs
Balloon: die cut using SU! Die in white 3x, adhered together for depth
Card Front: sentiment is stamped/embossed on a strip of pp, clouds are die cut from the same colors of cs as balloon (Papertrey ink dies)
Faux Stained Glass Technique: Added Glossy Accents into most of the balloon die openings, let it dry overnight, pressed the panel under a book to flatten a bit, adhered to card front
The balloon has enough dimension on its own, but one cloud is popped up with dimensionals.
Ah ha! I see you pulled out these dies! What a fun technique - looks so cool. I love how you made your clouds different colors and stamped your greeting onto the DSP.

This is adorable Maura. Great mix of colours that you mimic from the balloon to the clouds and strip at the bottom. Great design elements! And great work with faux stained glass technique. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
