Spring has sprung! I only plant flowers in pots near the house because if I grow them in the actual garden they get eaten by deer! My garden backs on to a large natural wood owned by the dashing 18th Earl of Pembroke. The deer jump the permitted small fences, and as they are beautiful to watch I don't really mind.
I stamped the bloom with DD, stamped off the first Pumpkin Pie, and used it direct for the third layer of stamping. Stamped the leaves and die cut all elements with the matching die. Die cut the square twice for firmness, and popped it up with foam pads. Arranged the bloom and leaves and lightly sponged the words with distress ink before gluing in the white space. Black gems to finish.

A beautiful bloom and gorgeous, elegant colors, Sandie! Love your story about the deer...I was actually taking my golden for a walk yesterday and crossed paths with a mother deer and her fawn...such beautiful creatures and we got to see them up close!

So pretty, Sandie! Love this color combo! The deer are the reason that I can’t have tulips. They devour them. I have a security camera right next to a tree that the deer like to nibble. I often have videos of deer munching and taunting me.
