I had to do a lot of detective work for this card (including finding clues to the sketch). A friend asked me if I could make a card for her niece who is going to study abroad in Greece. So, first I had to find out what Greece looks like. I looks quite lovely. My scene was inspired by this photo. Then I went looking for a few different sources to tell me how to say âgood luckâ in Greek. I found this on quite a few sites, so Iâm pretty confident in it. And finally, I wanted to make my water sparkle, but I had to find my Wink of Stella brush. I hid it on myself when I was hiding it from Desmond. He used up all of my last one on me. The kid loves to add sparkle to all of his projects!

Fantastic card Jen...You nailed your inspiration! She will be thrilled to get this card. I love it! I had to laugh about Desmond using up all your W of S.....who doesn't want to add sparkle to everything!

WOW! What a super special card. . .you put so much thought into it to personalize it. I love that you accidentally hid your Wink of Stella from yourself. It's awesome that your son loves to create like you do.

This could be a travel poster! How wonderful it looks. I think the 'Good Luck' works too like 'good luck on winning a lottery so you can come to Greece for a year'! Ha, ha! So wonderful for your niece to travel abroad to study. You've really captured the feel and the blue of the Mediterranean Sea.

Love this scene and that you did it so personal. Wonderfully done, Jen and it is perfect for this adventurous girl (I am so jealous she gets to do this). Pretty! Hugz
