It's time for a new Color Challenge and Karen is hosting this week. She has chosen the combination of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy, and Poppy Parade, with a dessert option to include feathers. Truthfully, it took me a while to decide what I wanted to make with this color combo, and by then I totally forgot about dessert!!
I settled on using some fun Tim Holtz images to make a birthday card for my BIL, and the colors worked perfectly! I used Copics to color, die cut the dog, hat and sentiment, then added it all to a panel of Bristol lightly ink blended with Fossilized Amber Distress ink. I used a Warm Gray copic to create shadows under the dog before adhering.
Thanks for looking and I hope you'll join the Color Challenge this week!

This little fella looks like he is ready to celebrate. Such a delightful card.

That crazy doggie is so adorable! I love your coloring and the way you used this week's colors. Love the die cut panel with the wider border of navy around it!
