The current Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS524 - We Got The Beat - 3/11/19, was to create a card with a musical theme.
I found the perfect stamp/die set in my stash for this challenge, and it was one that Iâve had for a year and not used...today it got used. Yeah! The stamps I used are from a My Monthly Hero Kit from Feb 2018 called Spoken Bird. The stamp set is filled with lots of Silhouette style birds, little leaves, butterflies and, hallelujah, some sweet music notes. Just what I was needing! And amazingly enough, there was also a tiny die to go with the music notes. So fun to find this set in my stash right when I needed it for a challenge!
For this project, I used some of my favorite watercolor paper from Spectrum Noir, called Spectrum Aqua. Itâs a really bright white watercolor paper, 100 on the brightness scale (as white as you can get!!!). I used the same paper for the tag and the cardbase, mainly because of the texture of the paper.
Accessories: Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit - Spoken Bird, Feb 2018 - stamps & dies (little music notes!), Kat Scrappiness Stitched Scalloped Nesting Tag, Offray white polka dot organdy ribbon, black & white bakers twine, Simon Says Stamps Moonshine Sequins, fun foam
Wow, what a fun and joyful card. I love all of your tiny elements - the notes, ribbons and sequins. Your BG is so yummy for your silhouette images. And that tag is awesome!! That is going on my wish list for sure. Where do you purchase that watercolor paper? I've never heard of it before.
