I used this card of Sunny's as my inspiration. I kept the nautical theme but made a shadowbox rather that a shaker card, and used mostly die cuts instead of stamps and changed the orientation.
Found this scrap of previously made bg - no clue what the technique was but it was a soft cloudy blue with bits of moss green and gold flecks so it looked like ocean depths to me. Stamped my trio of fish on scrap stock, colored, fussy cut and arranged in the ocean adding some stickles for bubbles. I built up succeeding layers in my box with moss plant life, midnight and aqua spattered with a deeper blue for a more watery look - using mounting foam between layers to add depth to my box. I finished with a recollections die cut anchor tied with baker's twine.

I love your under water scene. I especially like the water effect of your frame.
