I needed a sympathy card for a dear friend who passed away . . .and while this may be a bit unusual it fits Louie. He was the owner of a Chile Pepper Company (and a very philanthropic man).
I cased the very 1st card I ever posted - a Real Fiesta which I dialed back to a bit more somber look for a sympathy card.
I sponged clouds over my card base then stamped the chili on scrap stock, embossed with clear powder and fussy cut. I arranged these in a ristras down the side and tied with raffia. Finished with the Wordsworth quote -part of the very first stamp set I every bought!

Wonderful card for a guy who had a chili pepper company! Sorry about your friend!
Love the way you arranged the peppers on the card and the sentiment! Thanks for playing!

Those red peppers with the sky bg are just perfect to honor the memory of someone who owned a chilli pepper company. You did a perfect CAS of the origional card making it appropriate for a sympathy card. Gorge ous coloring on the peppers.
