At first glance you might not think that this is a mixed media card. But to qualify as mixed media for the Splitcoast challenges you need at least 3 different art mediums. I did ink, embossing powder, markers and colored pencils, and an ink pen. As well as plastic embellishments so I technically used 6. You might say if that is all it takes, I am already doing mixed media as a regular card maker. My answer to that is YES, you are. I combined two different pop up techniques on my card. One is the pop out explosion and the other is to make a simple pop up mechanism to put behind a fussy cut or die cut image.
