This is for today's sketch challenge. I thought the smallest panel width would work perfectly with these daffodils. I have a lot of leftover 1e wooden strips from another project so I've been trying to find a combo with these daffodils and this wooden basket.
The gingham is rolled through with a subtle embossing folder, making the paper look like fabric IRL.
I had to modify the sketch a bit and make the panel shorter, which then left some extra room at the bottom. I added ribbon to fill in the gap - hope it worked out ok.
Thanks for looking!

Very pretty! Love all the embossing details! The basket and your 'fabric' gingham look terrific and so spring-like! Can't wait for the bulbs to start coming up here but they would have to go through about 4 inches of ice! :-)

I like these springtime daffodils in that pretty brown basket. The subtle ef has never looked so good, most of the time I can't see the texture, but it certainly shows on your card~

Love how you have created the basket weave planter for the beautiful daffodils. The embossed gingham DSP definitely looks like fabric - what a clever idea. A great take on the sketch.

You are so creative! Love the daffodils in the basket idea. I like how you embossed the gingham paper; it does look like fabric. Wonderful job with the sketch! Beautiful card. Hope you feel better soon. TFS

Nothing like a basket full of flowers! What a clever design, with those lovely daffodils and the gingham, which does look remarkably like fabric! Lovely!
