Lisa is our hostess for this week's WTUI challenge - you'll be able to find out all about it HERE .
I had great fun combining the new SAB frogs with the very old Lily Pad wheel. I stamped the wheel on some white card, sponged it with blue and spritzed with water. I stamped it again and cut out the lily pads and lilies. THe pads are coloured with DOX , the lilies just have stickles. The left-hand pad and the lillies are popped up on foam.
The Lawn Fawn and MFT grass borders were cut from card sponged with Forest Moss DOX. I added some little flower sequins in.
The background layer was watercolour paper, misted with water and sprinkled lightly with Brushos. I stamped on the sentiment and flies, and I can't remember which set I took the music stamps from. The flies have Stickles on their wings.
For the frogs, I stamped and embossed them on white card. Working one area at a time I wet them and sprinkled with Brushos. The glasses have Glossy Accents on them, and the other frog has a little party hat from From the Herd - the accessories in that set are a perfect fit for the frogs. I edged all round the panel with a metallic distress crayon and then added it to a white base. I thought I might give it to DH for his birthday, but he says it's not him. Back to the drawing board on that one, so...

What an adorable scene, Sabrina! So many wonderful details like the stickies, glossy accents and the Brush background! This is a perfect creation for the "Water's Edge" challenge and now you have a sweet birthday card for your stash!

You put a lot of work into this little scene.....as you always do to any card you create, Sabrina. Fun scene of pond life with one frog singing "Happy Birthday" to the other wearing his celebration gear. Super card.

This scene is fab, my dear!! Love those frogs. I really like the way you added the grass to make it look like a pond! Favd.

How cute!!! I don't have a rolling stamp but they sure look fun!! I love those lily pads! I don't know how you managed to get the wings on the flies sparkly without going over the lines! Such a fun project! Bummer about what DH said. Mine is often like that. I think he would like only cards with misty blue mountains! EVERY time! LOL (that's not what he gets)
