The current Clean & Simple Challenge, CAS523 - Three In A Row - 3/4/19, is to include at least one multiple of three on your creation.
The multiples-of-three on my card are:
- 3 diecuts of the Dance for Joy die (bonus is that there are 3 kids in a row dancing!)
- 3 colors used: kraft, white, SU Balmy Blue
- 3 embellishments made using SU Linen Thread
My take on the Three In A Row Challenge was a bit different than was probably intended. My 3 images of the diecut kids are stacked on top of each other, slightly offset to create a shadow effect. To add some textural interest I dry embossed the diecuts with SU Subtle EF before gluing them together using Tombow Mono Multi glue.
I intended to have 3 layers on the diecut sentiment, but after gluing my sleeve to the tabletop while I smeared glue on the 2nd snaky sentiment, I decided that Three was NOT a charm! Ha...glue and I have a love/hate relationship - todays project is a testament to that.
To finish off the card I added a sweep of Nuvo Clear Glitter to the sentiment and the exposed shadow edges on the diecuts. Also added 3 pieces of linen thread - one wee bow and 2 simple knots of thread.
Many thanks for stopping by and looking at my Dance For Joy entry in the CAS Three In A Row Challenge.

This is so sweet! Excellent take on the challenge. Love the three die-cut layers of the three kids. Your color choices are fabulous. I know what you mean about love-hate with glue. You gave me a smile with your comment! I think the sentiment having only two layers looks sharp. Well done!!! TFS
