This card was made as a Design Team card for Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #403 (https://TryStampinOnTuesday.blogspot.com/). The challenge had the optional theme of using embossing. So I've used both dry embossing, and heat embossing in this design.
I love the Stampin' Up! (SU) "Lace" dynamic embossing folder, but because it does make super deep impressions, be sure to spritz it with water before embossing to prevent the paper fibers from tearing.
The sentiment is from the SU "Endless Birthday Wishes" set. I stamped with Versamark, then dusted the stamped image with SU Orange embossing powder before heat setting it to create the glossy words.
The vertical tag element, and the white sentiment piece were attached to the card using adhesive foam strips to raise them off the card surface for added interest.
The blue "tails" required by the sketch were hand cut using paper snips because I wanted them to be shallow tails, rather than deep like most banner dies cut.
I had intended the card to be a birthday one, but it could be used for just about any celebration of someone's accomplisments.
This card was pretty straightforward and easy to create, so I have rating its difficulty level as a "2" out of a possible "5". It could be made even easier by not using adhesive foam strips.

Beautiful card! Thanks for the tip about spritzing before embossing.....I have put a piece of scratch paper in between the cardstock and folder before, but spritzing sounds much more effective!!!

Yes, scratch paper, or a piece of plastic bag helps, too. I often use a deflated air cushion you get in pkgs in the mail. Glad youu like my card, angelladcricket!
