I enjoyed browsing the V and A Museum immensely. It's awesome to see things that we don't often see in the states. I even watched a video about the 'rapid response collection.' Fascinating! And what museum shop sells a seam ripper, stick pins and darning needles???? I love it! And Raphael cartoons????? Turns out cartoon could mean preparatory painting for a fresco. Who knew?
For this card, I was inspired by all the beautiful insect stuff, like this: https://www.vam.ac.uk/shop/large-bee...d-152980.html; and this: https://www.vam.ac.uk/shop/belionota...nt-154096.html
I've had this bug set malingering in my collection of Club Scrap stamps for a while.

I totally want to make a card like that, and I totally want that stamps set! I just have to find someone who is clearing out their old Club Scrap sets!

What a cool card and I like the colors in the background for all your insects. That is a funny sentiment.

luv your cheeky humor and this clever take on that elegant bug. Oh, to get that shimmer and sheen. Your bg wonderful. And that sentiment requires a second look...profound in it's simple words.
A kuddos for no longer malingering that cool Club Scrap set.

It's really fun to see all the different creations that everyone is coming up with. Who knew that a bug could be so inspiring...and I missed the Raphael cartoons (I must go back) Your bug sketches are perfect for the sentiment (so true) and I love the w/c wash bg. A very clever take on your bug lol

Such a pretty background - much like that beetles back and prefect to display the stamps of the various insects. Gotta love the humor - I'm sure we all been there with our heads under the covers to avoid a mosquito!!!
