 | | This card is for Sharon''s S2S19G challenge, to feature the sea (as she had just returned from a cruise) and also to choose one of last week's daily challenges. I chose the WT728 challenge and made a special fold card, more specifically, a box fold card. It also fit Friday'so MIX318 challenge to draw a line. My line was the skyline between water and sky. The second line I have, is between sand and water, but it was not drawn, it was torn. After die cutting the card base, I stamped the ship using my SU Stamparatus. I drew the skyline with a coloured pencil, drew lines in the water and roughly coloured the water, then used a gel pen to show waves. I painted in clouds with acrylic white paint. Tore some sand patterned paper and painted some of the torn edge to simulate waves. The chairs were stamped, then chairs, lighthouse and birds were die cut and adhered. Added a bit of beach grass, and more stamped birds, and a die cut sun, which is barely visible. |
